In the receiver specs box in the system estimator tool, there are fields to simulate a lens. The aperture size, focal length, and distance between the PD and lens are the parameters that can be varied and simulated with the tool.

Electrical and Optical crosstalk is a main source of error that can be improved with good layout design and optical shielding, respectively. This error is more prominent as the signal amplitude decreases.
Another large potential source of error to consider is a large system field-of-view. Optical shielding and the presence of a lens will affect the field-of-view.

We want to konw, how can we modify the gain or compensation since the ambient lux will change as we change the the using enviroment. In other words, we want to modify some parameters due to enviromental conditions.So how can we do that?
