Hello everyone,

I am currently doing with a single IWR6843ISK+MMWAVEICBOOST+MMWAVEPOEEVM in long-range configuration and taking the tracked information and plotting in another visualizer. I have to use such 8 combinations and run the boards in parallel and take values from 8 boards for plotting in the visualizer.

Do you have any suggestions on, how to run 8 boards by running a single code? I am using the python code provided in the people counting demo for getting the tracker information for plotting.

Hi Aleena,

We do not have an implementation that will run 8 boards at the same time. In theory this can be done but I would worry the processing required to display all the points from different sensors would be too much for a normal PC.

If using the python code provided, you may be able to add support for additional COM port connections and call the parsing functions a second time from the new COM ports. Do you have to do this in real time? It may be easier to store the data from multiple sensors, concatenate them into a common file, and use some playback visualization in python or matlab to look at them.

Furthermore, you may be able to use some other device to stream the data via Ethernet with an ethernet switch or something, but that would take some additional modifications to the below info.

We are using POE for power and data transfer. We connect each board via POE to a remote system.
