IWR6843ISK: Raw data extraction for FFT for tracking multiple people

Part Number: IWR6843ISK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DCA1000EVM,

Hello.

I am working with the IWR6843ISK, set up with a DCA1000EVM.

I am attempting to make a workable radar, which in the ideal world will be able to keep track of multiple moving people and not confuse them, even if their paths intersect.

At the moment, I've managed to set the thing up and get processed results out through mmwavestudio. But I want to get deeper into the nitty gritty of the measurements. I want to extract the raw data from the setup, with as little of the TI software processing as possible. If at all possible, I want to work with the raw data on a Linux setup and with CUDA-coding, possibly a few steps later. Alternatively, I want to get a better in to work with programming the setup.

As you can probably tell, I am quite new at working with TI-boards and in general, I am not very experienced with this sort of work. I would be very thankful if anyone has a suggestion or if someone has already solved something similar, point me in that direction. Honestly, even better terminology would probably help me a great deal.

Thanks in advance and I will definitely thank you again if you can help me.
