Hi support team

I soldered some OPT3001s by hand but they were broken a lot. I would like to know what the soldering temperature is?

Do you have recommended soldering method？

Hi Meng,

Page 19 of the QFN and SON PCB Attachment app report suggests the use of a preheater to reduce the risk of temperature overshoot. It is also recommended to use a small iron tip with the lowest temperature possible and to have the soldering iron contact the the pads and not the side of the component. The peak solder temperature is 260C for OPT3001-Q1. I'm linking the app note below.
