AWR1843: Question about XWR1xxx Noise Spectral Density in swra577a.pdf

Hi,

In app note "Power Management Optimizations – Low Cost LC Filter Solution" (swra577a.pdf), customer found there is information about XWR1xxx Noise Spectral Density.

Would you pls help on below questions?

1. Is there any relationship between Supply Ripple and Noise Spectral Density?

2. There is info of spectral noise density for LDO. If customer plan to use other LDO (not the one on EVM) , should the LDO noise density be less than the number in XWR1xxx Noise Spectral Density table in this app note? Why Noise Spectral Density info is not in the AWR1843 datasheet?

    Chris,

         In the original specifications we had captured Noise spec in the data sheet subsequently, ripple specs were sufficient to meet the RF performance hence later it's removed from the datasheets. 

    If external LDOs needed to be used then ripple spec need to be seen at the output of LDO to see if they are compatible or not.
