AWR1843: How to enable the custom calibration?

Hi Cesar,

Customer had already follow this post guide. but the issue is not solved.

After enable the TX phase calibration, the issue is same. Debug information is:

customCalibrationEnableMask = 0x0F00：Error code -204602894

The question is, which calibration is must to enable? Can you please provide the list?

Let me know if you have any suggestion on this case.

• custom HW
• custom SW

I looked through the SDK code.

The SDK demo configures No custom calibration.

        /* No custom calibration: */
        gMmwMssMCB.cfg.openCfg.useCustomCalibration        = false;
        gMmwMssMCB.cfg.openCfg.customCalibrationEnableMask = 0x0;

If I remember correctly, the custom calibration feature was introduced for use cases where we want to reduce the boot time and instead of performing the boot time calibrations we restore the values that have been previously saved to flash.

The custom calibration flag allows to selectively disable some of the boot time calibrations.

If the customer does not use this feature, the customer should not use this flag.

Is the customer able to run the SDK demo on this board?

Yes, the SDK demo works fine. and the SDK calibration works fine.

Customer wants to know which calibration can be disable.
