Hi,
I'm working with the AWR1843BOOST in the MRR lab and I would like to extract the raw information of 1D FFT. How can I extract this information?
Thanks & Regards.
Hi,
It is possible to extract this information for one frame by using CCS memory save feature.
Will this be sufficient for your project.
If you need more than one frame you would need to use a DCA1000 board to capture raw data.
The MRR demo will not allow you to capture several frames of the 1D FFT data
thank you
Cesar
Hi Cesar,
Ok I understand, I also want to plot this data and I saw this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1036765/awr1843aopevm-modify-lab0007_medium_range_radar-toolbox-to-get-range-noise-profile-using-awr1843aopevm/3837144?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=mrr%252520range%252520raw#3837144
In this thread you shared some code to display the data, could you share the code?
Thank you.
Hi,
This code mentioned displays the range noise profile, similar to what the mmWave SDK demo is doing in the mmWave Visualizer. It does not display the 1D FFT data. Is this what you are interested in?
Thank you
Cesar
Hi,
Yes, I'm interested in that. It would be useful to compare the output of the 1D FFT with the range noise profile.
Thank you.
Hi,
If you are only interested in the 1D FFT for MIMO configuration you should probably use the mmWave SDK demo which has better configuration capabilities.
I have sent you the modified mrr that has support for range noise profile
thank you
Cesar
