AWR1843BOOST: Using the MMWAVE DEMO VISUALIZER Config file

Hi,

Good Day!

Can you please let me know, if I can use an old config file(Stored in PC) from MMWAVE demo visualizer to an AWR1843BOOST that is flashed recently? Or Can I only use those Config sent to MMWAVE device  from demo visualizer?

My Apologies, if it's a stupid question, Kindly Respond.

    Hi,

    First I assume that the AWR1843BOOST was flashed with the mmWave SDK demo.

    The config file generated with the MMWAVE demo visualizer is specific to the mmWave SDK demo.

    Please make sure that the version of the MMWave demo visualizer used to generate the config file is supported by the  mmWave SDK  version. 

    If you have generated the config file in the last 1.5 years this should be fine.

    Then you can open this Visualizer, go to the "Plots" window and click on "LOAD CONFIG FROM PC AND SEND"

    Additionally, Can you please let me know, What "Typical Detectable Objects" denotes in MMWAVE sensing estimator?
