Hi,
I would like to keep the flashing functionality for a dedicated AWRx243 board. However it would be better for me to use a serial flash that can work at 1.8V Vdd instead of the Macronix Serial NOR flash used on the AWR1243 board (MX25V1635FZNQ) .
Is any QSPI 16M serial NOR flash chip can be used to store the firmware?
Could you confirm IS25WP016D from ISSI could do the job?
If it cannot can you propose me a 1.8V serial NOR flash for the chip AWR2243 (or AWR1243)?
Thanks
Hello Arnaud,
The serial flash requirements for AWR2243 are same as mentioned in "sprach9c.pdf". Here is the link : https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sprach9c/sprach9c.pdf
But typically a serial flash is not required for AWR2243 since the small patch can be downloaded by the host processor over SPI interface.

Ishita
