IWR1843BOOST: Capturing raw data without DCA1000 or any other LVDS board?

Hi, I'm using IWR1843 Boost board, I wanted to ask about the procedure of extracting raw data of the ADC.

1. Is there any way to do this with IWR board only without the use of DCA1000 or any other LVDS interface?
2. If not, then any cheaper alternative available for LVDS interface?
3. I was searching for an alternative, I found TSW1400 but mmWave-Devpack was also a requirement to use the TSW1400 board, but I found that mmWave-Devpack is obsolete. So any launchpad alternative available?

Hi,

xWR1843BOOST is a complete evaluation board in itself. To evaluate the performance of the device you can flash it with the example SDk application codes and connect on USB to PC GUI or visualizer and observe the results.

However, for the ADC RAW data capture you would need data one of the data capture boards, you listed above.

But I had one more query that DCA1000 is out of stock everywhere, then what to do now?

We are working on building the stock and soon it would appear on the TI site. You can also order it from distributor.

Thanks for the response,

I've a few more queries:

1. I can't see any stock available for DCA1000EVM present on Mouser or Digikey.
2. On more research, I found that TSW1400+DevPack can also be used to capture the raw data as an alternate to DCA1000EVM, but I've no information on the Devpack, is this
mmWave Devpack, if yes? Then I find that device labeled as "This product is no longer manufactured".
3. Final query: Please tell me a way to get the raw data from AWR/IWR1843 board?

The kit is now out of stock. However, is most likely to be in stock in April.
