IWR6843: Queries about 6843 Antenna

Are you referring to 6843AOP device?  If yes then 6843AOP is 3 TX / 4 RX mmWave sensor with the antennas on package.  the antennas placement configuration looks like this: 

You can measure the antenna performance in an anechoic chamber so you plot antennas radiation pattern.  You can check the data sheet for the antennas radiation pattern plots:

Hi Jack,

Some of the questions are not very clear to me.

• Custom design would apply the Antenna with 1x Tx and 3x Rx. Is it applicable with IWR6843 since it has 3x Rx and 4x Tx. How to handle 3 extra Tx?
  The 6843 has 4 RX ports and 3 TX ports.  You can use any combinations of these antennas.
• Is it possible to connect DWFC type Antenna to 6843 EVM Kit?
  What is a DWFC antenna?
• Is it possile to adjust the respective Antenna Power?
  Please refer to the datasheet.
• How to measure the Antenna performance of 6843AOP type?
