AWR1843BOOST: SPI Connectivity Issue

Hi Experts,

Good day.

Client is working with the AWR1843BOOST with DCA1000.

When they try to connect SPI by selecting the 'SPI Connect tab', they're getting an error as shown in the attachment.

They did go through the other solutions provided on the Sensor forum and have checked for the following:

1. Switch S2 on the EVM is set to 'SPI'.
2. Static IP address has been set.
3. The SOP switches are set to the configuration (SOP0 = ON, SOP1 = ON, SOP2 = OFF).
4. The BSS and MSS files selected are correct.

Any solution on this?

Hi,

Please make sure that a power supply 3A is used

Hello Cesar,

The client confirmed that the power requirements are being met. They have used the same board, with the same settings and adapters a few months back, did not have a problem then.

Not sure what happened now.

Hi Cesar,

New update received from client.

"I would like to let you know that it is working properly now.
The only thing I did was disconnect and reconnect the RS232 and that seems to have solved the issue (maybe it was not connected properly).
I am unsure if it has to do anything with it, but it is working now...!"

Kindly let me know if you have more inputs/thoughts on this.
