IWR6843ISK: mmWave: no DPM init in Level Sensing project

Hello everyone,

i have a question:

In the mmwave industrial toolbox Labs there is the Level Sensing project.

I can't find any DPM init in the mss_main.c.

Why is that ?

Hi Gerhard,

The High Accuracy Level Sensing demo does not use the DPM.

Hi Brennan,

I do not understand that.

I thought you always needed the DPM to control the PDU.

Do you have any further information for me?

The diagram you posted is the system execution flow for the Out of Box Demo on 68xx platform. The High Accuracy Level Sensing Demo does not utilize the DPM because it shares architecture with devices that do not support the DPM, such as the xWR14xx device. Hello Brennan,

the diagram above is from mmwave_SDK_03_05_00_04.

The diagram from mmWave_SDK_02_01_00_04 fits better with the Level Sensing project.

I think xWR16xx fits best.
