IWR6843ISK: Field evaluation of IWR6843ISK

Hello,
we develop radars using the IWR6843ISK mainly for traffic monitoring which are operated in the 61-61.5GHz bandwidth.
Evaluations in an anechoic chamber have been done, and next would like to do a field evaluation.
We are aware of necessity for FCC certification, however getting authority from FCC is too heavy for such an experimental evaluation.

In TI's youtube, on the other hand, it seems you have done several demos using EVM boards (w/o FCC mark) in real field environment.
So would it be possible to tell us if such an experimental license is available in FCC?
That will be very helpful for us.

On the emission certifications different geographical locations have different certification requirements. FCC is mainly catered for the United states,

IWR6843ISK EVMs also been tested for RED and FCC guidelines and test reports are shown below

TI EVMs are not final end products but provides reference and guide for customer hardware development, hence it's a statutory requirement to declare in the EVM as "For evaluation only, not FCC approved for resale".

Let me make sure if I understood you correctly.
According to your remark,
for evaluation, IWR6843ISK can be legally operated in a real environment in the US.
Is my understanding correct?
