Hi,

I'm working with the AWR1843BOOST and I would like to average the 1D FFT to test the performance of the detections. I tried to do a loop in the interChirpProcessing function but it didn't work, i think that it didn't work because of the critical processing time for each chirp. So, Is there a manner to average the 1D FFT data without use the DCA1000EVM board? If it possible, how can I do it?

Hi,

what do you mean average the 1DFFT? Do you mean computing the average of the 1D FFT for each chirp?

If this is what you are trying to do, I think you should be able to do that but you would need a very optimized averaging function. I checked the dsplib but there is no averaging function available.

You may want to modify the following vector add function to create an optimized average function

C:\ti\dsplib_c64Px_3_4_0_0\packages\ti\dsplib\src\DSP_add16\c64P

Yes, I mean to calculate the average 1D FFT for each chirp. I will do what you recommend.
