Hello Champs,

Do we have spurious emission testing report for AWR2243? Customer wanted to know if the AWR2243 spurious emission matches CMIIT certification in China.

I found some test report on IWR1843, do we have such report on awr2243?

Thanks.

  • Hello,

We do not have any emissions reports on AWR2243, but the emissions performance between AWR2243 and AWR1843 will be very similar. You can refer to the report for AWR1843 to reference for AWR2243.

We do not have any testing for CMIIT for any of our devices. However, we do have customers who have gone to production in China with our devices so the device likely should meet the required limits for CMIIT. I would recommend for the customer to provide a provision for a shield around the AWR2243 and surrounding decoupling capacitors as described in section 5.3 of the below app note. The shield needs to be properly grounded to the PCB around all sides to act as a faraday cage or it will make performance worse.
