Hello,

I am considering reducing the overall size of the AWR1843Boost. We do not need CAN connection, only stationary use for a special application, no need for DCA1000, direct integration to the PC via USB. Which one of the following large components can be eliminated with no issues:

- Receptacle QSH-030-01-L-D-A

- Terminal Block OSTTE0300161

- Receptacle SSM-110-S-DV

It would help if you can list all the interfaces you need and based on that we can guide you on what all you can remove from the present EVM design. What all interfaces do you need available to the PC via USB?

The interfaces I will use are only usb port, mmWave studio gui and xds110 jtag. I'm not going to use dca1000 but would need to use TMDSEMU119-U. Which of these components can I remove without issue?

- Terminal Block OSTTE0300161

- Receptacle SSM-110-S-DV

Hello Ceylan,

For using the mmwave studio GUI you need to connect DCA1000, so for that you would need the QSH-030-01-L-D-A.

Since you dont need CAN and launchpad interface, OSTTE0300161 and SSM-110-S-DV are not needed.
