Have you been using the resources in our industrial toolbox? Here at Industrial Toolbox --> Labs --> Vital Signs --> 14xx Vital Signs you will find more information on the demo provided in the training video. 

As far as raw data capture, here is some documentation: https://training.ti.com/sites/default/files/docs/mmwave_sensor_raw_data_capture_using_dca1000_v02.pdf. This details raw data capture with just a DCA1000 and a IWR1xxx device. Please let me know if this helps or if you need more information.

Thanks for your quick response.

I've checked Industrial Toolbox 4. The guidelines mentioned in the user's guide of the vital sign lab are not proper to run the vital sign lab demo. For example, The guidelines at the 15th bullet point of Step 2 say that " In the Program tab, browse and locate demo MSS and RadarSS binary files as shown in the figure below. " But the rendered image only uploads a file MSS. It is quite confusing, and flashing with the RadarSS file(xwr12xx_xwr14xx_radarss_rprc.bin) succeeding the guidelines aborts the flashing with a message that it is not a valid file. In the end, I managed to flash Vital Signs Lab using only MSS files.

Currently data acquisition adapter DCA1000 is out of stock at TI and other suppliers. I am unable to capture raw data of vital sign to process on PC with IWR1443BOOST alone.

Can you recommend me any other EVM other than IWR1443BOOST that can be used to monitor and capture raw data of vital signs? Since the IWR1443BOOST requires a data acquisition adapter (DCA1000) to acquire raw data, I would like to purchase an EVM with built-in functionality to monitor and acquire raw data.

The radarSS binary file is built into the MSS image when you build your project using the vitalSigns_lab project spec (see line 17). Did flashing using only MSS files give you an error?

Unfortunately, the only way to capture raw radar data at this time is with a DCA1000 board.

I did not built using vital sign lab project rather I flashed only MSS binary directly. It was flashed and worked successfully.

I read from this weblink that these EVM can be used without DCA1000 to capture raw data of vital signs. Can you please check the below weblinks and confirm ?.

Hi Arjun,

My apologies but there is not an alternate way at this time. The DCA1000 is needed for raw data capture with the IWR1443BOOST.

In the first thread you linked Akash meant the DCA1000 is not needed to run the demo.
