Alternative to Microchip MTCH101 or MTCH102 proximity sensor

Hi,

My customer tries to replace the proximity sensor from Microchip. It is a simple solution (on/off) and our FDC / MSP430 Tourch are too complicated. 

Is there anything else you can recommend. For roadmap devices please reach out directly to me.
