AWR2243: The BPM code of AWR2243

Part Number: AWR2243

Hi all

I use the API of "AWR_BPM_CHIRP_CONF_SET_SB" to set all the phase of the chip

i have two questions

1、 if i set the "CONST_BPM_VAL" to 0x2.  Does  it means the phase of TX0 is 180 degree, or it means the phase of Tx0 is 0 degree?

2、 i set the phase of eight chirps(from1 to 8), but when i set chirp 1 , i find the chirp 1 and chirp 5 are all active. So Do you have seen this problem

i just call the function of "rlSetBpmChirpConfig" for eight times.

Thanks.

  • Hi Liu,

Please find my response to your concern below :

    1. The only applicable values are 0x0 and 0x1 corresponding to a phase shift of 0 and 180 degrees respectively.

    2. Can you elaborate a little more on the problem here? I'm not sure if I understood correct. Yes you can issue the API 8 times to set the phase of your 8 chirps separately.

  • OK,

My frame have two subframe, one subframe has 1 chirp(ID is 0) and another one has 8 chirps (the ID is 1 to 8)

I use the API of "AWR_ADVANCED_FRAME_CONF_SB" to config the two subframes

Then I set the phase of the chirps just as below

Then i call the function "rlSetBpmChirpConfig" for eight times just as below

But i find that when i config the chirp 1 , the chirp 1&5 is active

when i config the chirp 2,  no chirp is active

when i config the chirp 3, the chirp 2 & 6 is active

So  i check my code many times but can not find anything error.

Could you give my some suggestion?

    Thanks a lot

  • Hi all

i find the answer of this problem, but i need check with you

i find that if i config the chirp 0-7 to BPM signal. and it can be active

But if i config the chirp 1-8 to BPM and  it can not work, just like above

But i do not find anything about this in TI documents . So i want to check with you.

    Thanks.

  • Hello Liu,

Apologies for the delay in response.

Can you send in your configuration for me to replicate your scenario?
