PGA460-Q1: How PGA460 output analog waveforms ?

Hi Team,

The customer feedback that there are SENSOR defective products that need to be analyzed. The customer wants the PGA460 to output analog waveforms. Please advise how to do it?

    Hi Kygo,

    The PGA460 has an echo data dump function where the data at the output of the digital data path can be extracted in a raw digital format.  Section 7.3.7 of the PGA460 describes this functionality.

    The PGA460 also has the following options for outputting data at different points in the data path:

    • You can extract the raw digital data at different points in the digital data path, which is described in Section 7.3.7.2 of the datasheet. This mode allows extracting the data from the band pass filter, rectifier, low pass filter, or ADC output using the device’s USART synchronous communication mode.
    • You can output the signal that is fed to the internal ADC of the PGA460. This signal is output on the TEST pin of the PGA460 by selecting the “Analog Front End output” option for the TEST_MUX bits in the TEST_MUX register.
