AWR1843BOOST: Relationship between the XYZ coordinates of radar cloud point and the the XYZ coordinates of a Dielectric Object.

Part Number: AWR1843BOOST

WE are using the AWR1843BOOST to capture XYZ data from a long (or tall) cylindrical object in the Y or Z direction. The object distance (Y) from the radar is 10 inches and the interface dielectric constant air. The dielectric constant of the object is unknown.  Would the XYZ data of the Scatter and Range plots be accurate?    The reason for the question is that the range bins and calibration are set up based on air dielectric. There is refraction at the Air--Object interface of course, but we are unsure if the XYZ measurements beyond the interface are correct and if these numbers can be used to determine the angle of refraction at the interface and as the wave travels through the object? Is this dealt with in TI analysis and if so could you point me to where this is dealt with in the SDK or any of TI's documentation? is
