Hi Team,

Could you help to discuss with our customer please. Here is their concern below.

I am currently writing my thesis on vital sign detection with a FMCW radar and I'm using the AWR1642Boost.

I had a look into the driver vital signs lab for signal processing but I was wondering where do you configure the radar?

I read in the datasheet that it is possible to set the phase of each Tx antenna individually but couldn't find the line in code where this is done. Also is the phase set per chirp or per frame?

Can you show me in which file the configuration takes place?

Hi,

This changing the phase of each chirp is not possible on the AWR1642 device.

This is only possible on the AWR1843 device

Thank you. This the customer's follow up question.

Will the phase always start at zero then or is the starting point of the chirp always a random spot in the oscillators signal?
