Hai TI,

We recently purchased MMWCAS-DSP-EVM, AWR2944EVM, MMWCAS-RFEVM when we opened to test we found out that the antenna part in most of the EVM's seems rusty (attached Pic for reference), can you please

    Hello,

    The antenna area has Immersion silver coating and Silver naturally tarnishes when exposed to air, hence the oxidation on the silver immersion finish is normal and expected. This will not impact performance in anyway and is purely cosmetic, so we have not tested any methods for preventing or removing the oxidation.

    You are welcome to try some of the methods mentioned below, but we cannot guarantee that this will not impact the antenna performance. I would recommend to ignore the oxidation and just leave as is.
