IWR1843BOOST: Enable all 3 transmitters for angular resolution improvement in the azimuth plane

Hi,

I read that we can configure the radar to utilise all the Txs. for improvement of the angular resolution accuracy from 15deg(2Tx*4Rx) to 10deg(3Tx*4Rx) for the radar boards (tradeoff between elevation & azimuth angular resolutions). Can you tell me how we can achieve that using the IWR1843BOOST board?

    Hi, there:

    For the current IWR1843BOOST board, the visual antenna on the azimuth direction spans to 8 element, and therefore, the angle resolution in azimuth direction is 15 degree.  If you redesign your antenna pattern so that the visual antenna on the azimuth direction spans to 12 element. Then your angle resolution in azimuth direction will be 10 degree.   By doing that, you may give up the elevation information.
