LDC1101EVM: LDC LABVIEW file

Part Number: LDC1101EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC1101,

Hello everyone,

I want to have access to the LABVIEW source code (.vi file) to actually understand and have control over the data coming from the USB.

Please help me where I can find it. I have downloaded LDC1101 EVM GUI but the "L" graph is not giving smooth updates.

Best Regards,

Vivek Raj

  • Hello Vivek,

The Labview source code for the GUI isn't available to download but the FW protocol for communicating to the EVM is described in section 3.15 of the User's Guide. You can use this to implement a new VI to perform any functions you need outside the GUI.

In regards to the data graph not giving smooth updates, you could try decreasing the sample rate of the EVM by increasing RCOUNT so that data isn't streaming as fast.

  • Which software i can use to communicate the EVM? Actually, I need data of inductance only in a readable format. How I can get it?

  • Hello,

The LDC1101EVM GUI is the recommended software for this EVM. You can save the data from the GUI to a data log using the checkbox at the top of the GUI:

If you only need L measurements, you can use the LHR tab on the GUI to only collect L data.
