LM20: LM20 failure modes

We would like to know the failure modes for the LM20 during normal operation and failure modes with operating supply voltage above the specified operating voltage. Please advise.

Hi Byron,

Please see below table for LM20 failure modes. We cannot guarantee device operation if the operating supply voltage is outside of spec.

Vout open or HIZ	40%
Vout functional out of spec vs temperature	20%
Vout to GND	40%

Byron,

That is not something we considered for our failure mode considering the Vcc and Vout pins are on different sides of the package.
