IWR1843: Read device specific number

Part Number: IWR1843

Hi,

Is there any device specific number (e.g. serial number) that can be read from the sw in IWR1843? Is it also possible to read the part number (just to verify that it is the correct part).
If it is possible, where can I find the information to do this?

Hello Erik,

Thank you for reaching out to Texas Instruments.

When you connect to the device using mmWaveStudio, you should be able to see the device number and what kind of device it is along with the device version.

I am attaching a picture for reference.

Please look at the Device Status and Die ID for the device type/mode/version

And look under DieID for the QEM number.

Hi Shareef,

Thanks for your answer, but I would like to access it from the sw that I flash on the device (e.g. read from a read-only memory slot) and not with an external tool like a IDE.
