Hello,

Question 1:

May I ask what to do with the reset buttons ? Does reset mean reboot the board or reset everything back to original? What does user switch mean?

Question 2:

After UniFlash .bin on the board we are asked to switch from Flashing mode to Functional mode.

Do I need to power off first and switch S3 ? Does it support hot swap?

Hello Woody,

SW2 will trigger the NRESET. If you search on E2E you can find many threads talking about what happens during NRESET. This will be a complete hard reset of the radar device.

SW3 is connected to GPIO1 of the radar device. By default nothing will happen when you toggle this swtich. You can add some functions to your code to take some action when this switch is triggered based on the value read in from GPIO1.

I am not sure what you mean by hot swap. When you toggle SW3, the value on GPIO1 will change to either 3.3V or GND depending on the position of the switch. You can periodically poll GPIO1 in your code and take some action based on the status of the input. You do not need to power cycle the board for the switch to change the value on the pin.

I recommend to review the schematics to understand all of the switches on the board.
