AWR2243: ADC data format over the CSI2 interface

Dear TI support,

Could you let me know if the AWR2243 ADC data is sent over the CSI2 interface in signed or unsigned format?

Additionally we are seeing a lot of 0x0000 and 0xFFFF and occasionally a 0x0001 data payloads sent over the CSI2 interface. So I wanted to ask if this is normal or abnormal and if it is abnormal do you know what might be causing this issue.

Hello Jonathan,

Yes, the ADC data is signed. Are you using the TI EVM or your own board? How are you capturing the CSI data?

I appreciate your quick reply. We are capturing the data via the CSI2 port on a Raspberry Pi. I don't if that helps or if you need any more information?

Hello Jonathan,

Do you have your own 2243 board designed? Are able to see the right amount of data, in terms of number of bytes received, on the Raspberry Pi? For example if you transmit exact 10 frames, are you seeing the exact number of bytes corresponding to 10 frames?
