Hi team,
Questions about TDC7201 operating incorrectly at high temperatures (50~60°C):
Time measurement using the TDC7210 chip, mode 2, measured within 5ms ± 1,000,000ps;
The current scenario is to send a START signal, then a STOP signal, about 100ms query status reg (addr=0x02), If the register is 0x19, the data calculation time is read out.
The program works normally at normal temperatures;
However, when the operating temperature increases to 50~60°C, the chip status reg reads 0x0c.
Checked clock and STOP signals:
1, The clock uses MCLK of MCU, it is directly connected, 10Mhz. The MCU is operating normally.
2, when abnormal, check that the STOP signal is normal.
What other possible reasons are there? The customer asks if we can use the TDC7201 EVM to verify that the TDC7201 is free from problems at high temperatures
Best Regards,
