Hi,

Can you outline the exact steps for generating the micro-doppler plots as shown in the PostProc utility for the DCA1000 board?

I have the radar cube and my own pipeline, but the results are markedly different, and I think I might be making a mistake somewhere.

I do not recognize that we generate micro-doppler plots in the mmwave studio postProc. Which figure you are refer to?

Sounds like a new feature that did not document in the mmwave studio users guide. I will discuss internally and get back to you.

Hi, Ray:

Here is the general idea of generating micro-Doppler plot

Take the Range-Doppler FFT for a given frame
Select the range-bin corresponding to the target. If the target spans multiple range-bins then averaging across the range-bins can also be done.
Now we will have a 1D vector e.g. [1 x NumDopplerBins ] for a given frame and target. This 1-D vector will be a column in the Doppler vs Time Heatmap.
Repeat (1) and (2) for all the frames, and you will have a two dimension array.
