TMP112: Please suggest suitable TMP solution for skin temp monitor

Hi team,

My customer would like to develop watch product and we see there is solution suggestion in our EERD.

TMP112 is recommend but based on datasheet, we didn't know how to design?

So do we have design guideline?

Or any better solution for skin temp monitor we can suggest?

    Hi Paul,

    We normally recommend TMP117 to our wearable customers due to its higher accuracy. TMP112 is also a great sensor that may be suitable depending on customer's accuracy requirement. 

    Skin temperature is commonly measured with a metal piece in the watch housing used to transfer the skin temperature to the sensor. This metal needs to be electrically grounded and protected against ESD events.
