Part Number: IWR1843BOOST

  • Hi,

Can you please provide more detail on which demo you have flashed onto the device as well as what visualizer you are trying to run?

    Best Regards,

  • Hi,

Could you open the CLI port (COM3 in your case) in a serial terminal such as putty or teraterm with a baudrate of 115200, press the NRST button, and post the results here? You should see a banner pop up similar to the one in the screenshot below.

    Best Regards,
    Alec

  • YES,I can

  • Hi,

Perfect, that looks correct. I just ran this on my side to ensure there was no errors in the GUI, and it appears to work properly on my end. A couple things we can try now that we have verified your setup:

    1. Before you try to connect via the GUI, hit NRST to ensure the device is in correct state
    2. Ensure that no program is "holding" on to the COM ports. Teraterm will do this if you do not close the session, and Matlab/Python can do this if a GUI crashes, for example.

Lastly, can you confirm what version of the mmWave Industrial Toolbox you are using? I tested this with 4.11.0

    Best Regards,
    Alec
