LDC1614: Webench design: error when exporting to CAD?

Team,

Customer is using the "Design & development/CAD/CAE symbols/Webench tool" from the product page:

and getting an error when exporting it's design to Mentor PADS.

Can you please help to fix the issue?

Our primary coil design tool is now an Excel-based coil design tool you can download from here.
Some guidance and Help resources can be accessed within the tool, and there are a couple of blog posts that give guidance on the tool's use.
The blog How to use the LDC calculations tool gives an overview, and How you can use the LDC racetrack inductor designer tool provides a step-by-step example.
Unfortunately the Excel-based tool does not support an export of the coil design to a layout tool.

Hi John,

Thanks for the answer.
The Tools works apparently for Altium, but not for PADS.
May be a workaround would be to export only the Gerber file so that it might be used with any CAD tools.
Is it planned?
The automatic design coil generation can really save a lot of time so it make sense to fix it.

It certainly makes sense, but currently there are no plans currently to have the tool export to Gerber files.
