Hi Experts,

Our customer would like to ask if the code for 3d people monitoring with iwr6843 can be used for IWR1642 sensors. Since there are some hardware differences between the 2.
If he would like to do people monitoring for IWR1642 sensor, where can he get the demo code? I hope you can help us.

    Hi Gerald,

    No, the 3D people counting demo will not be able to run on the IWR1642, as it lacks a hardware accelerator and will likely not have enough processing power for this demo. We recommend the IWR6843 for this application because it has both the HWA as well as the DSP for processing, and it is also the proper frequency band (60GHz not 77GHz) for this use case in most regions.
