IWR6843: Minimum non-idle silence time after a series of consecutive chirps

Hi,

I am trying to send multiple chirps, say N, with 30us on, and 30us off (30us idle time) in between. Let's say I send 100 of them, for a total of 6ms. How can I have that followed by 6ms of silence? How can I configure that? Is there an example file I can use?

I have not received an email regarding this. Can you please post an example here where I can set the minimum non-idle silence time? In your SWRA553A documentation, you call it "inter-frame time"

I found the email. The email is about trying to get 4GHz sweep BW up and running. We tried it and found a problem in that the sweep BW seems to be 2GHz, not 4GHz.

In addition, I don't think the email addresses setting the "inter-frame time". Can you help with that part please?

Hi Carlos,

Now that we have discussed further offline, I will update and close this thread by saying that in order to calculate inter frame time, you need to use the frame periodicity and calculate the active chirping time in order to determine the amount of excess time between frames.
