IWR6843AOP: How often recalibrate factory data

Hello,

How often to you recommend to recalibrate the factory calibration data? Or or is a one time calibration in the factory sufficient? Especially the IQ mismatch may harm the results of our radar signals.
Background it to save energy for ultra low power level sensing application.

    Hi Holger,

    The Factory Calibration methods described in the caliration appnote are indeed only intended to be calibrated once. Factory calibration is most useful when the product using the radar device is fully assembled at the factory, and the measurement area is already configured as it will be used. If the environment changes during deployment of the product, calibration at the factory may not be the best option.
