HDC2010: Max accuracy spec

Hi team,

My customer would like to know the max accuracy specification for this device down to the lower limit (-40°C). There is a graph with the typical, but no max accuracy spec.

Do we have this information handy?

Dear Lauren -

Thanks for the post - that is correct - the max accuracy spec is in the EC table, as generally, it would be odd to expect this device to be subjected to -40C.

Hi Josh,

In the EC table, it appears the max accuracy spec only goes down to 0 deg C. They're looking for -40 deg C.

Do we have the data for -40 deg C max accuracy spec?

Hi Lauren,

We cannot guarantee the RH accuracy of the device below 0°C.

If you look at the psychrometric chart for humidity, you can observe that the relative humidity converges to zero as the temperature goes below 0°C.

Hi Pavani,

To clarify, my customer is asking the following-

I see this chart on the datasheet, p7:

And this specification from p5:

But, neither of these tell me the max temperature accuracy for the -40°C to +5°C range. We would need to know that for specification of that measurement in our own sensor, which does operate to the lower limit of -40°C.

We cannot guarantee the temperature accuracy between -40°C and +5°C.
