I am xWR1843 Evaluation Module (xWR1843BOOST)
I was wondering after reading the Single-Chip mmWave Sensing Solution.

The DS3 in Section 2.8.3 was commented as'Glows when the GPIO is logic-1'.

What does this GPIO is logic-1 mean?
Does that mean there will be some kind of switching?

What is'GPIO = 1'?
Does that mean enabling the J13 pin on the AWR1843?

Is the code that means GPIO = 1 also provided in the SDK?

I want to know the meaning of GPIO = 1 itself.

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion.

In the AWR1843BOOST EVM User guide, "Table 5. Switch and LED Information"

"SW1 - GPIO_1 - When pushed, the GPIO_1 is pulled to VCC."

"DS3 - GPIO_1 - Glows when the GPIO is logic-1"

So, when you push SW1 DS3 glows

What I want to hear is how the inside of AWR1843 changes when GPIO = 1.

Hi,

I understand your question.

The Software developer that implements code can use GPIO_1 to trigger an event.

The mmWave SDK demo does not use this GPIO_1

Hi,

In an embedded processor "Events" are signals that come from outside world. The processor usually supports a set of Events. The sw developer maps some of these events to interrupts
