AWR1843BOOST: About SW setting method of U6

Is it safe to assume that the U6 used either J5, J6 or J1 to enable pins for USB or UART before the AWR1843 BOOST shipped?

Is it okay to think that U6 is via JTAG communication when setting applications and drivers?

Hi,

This is not correct. The PMIC is not configured before AWR1843 BOOST is shipped.

I think it would be useful to read the PMIC documentation. There is a separate forum for PMIC that you can post a thread.

Please use the PMIC part number when you create the thread

Hello,

I do not understand the question. J5, J6, J1 are debug headers and are separate from the XDS110 MCU (U6).

U6 is programmed via the USB port before shipping the AWR1843BOOST. Yes, JTAG is connected using U6 and the USB port for use with CCS for software development.

In other words, U6 is in a state where no program is written when soldering to AWR1843BOST, right?

After that, you write the program to U6 via USB, right?

Is it okay that the JTAG pins at that time are 35,36,37,38 pins?

When U6 is mounted on the board we made, the following figure is still displayed and the port is not recognized by USB connection.

Can I still write the program from USB?
