TMP390: TMP390 Current consumption

I require a 0C temperature switch with very low standby power consumption. I have built the single channel cold trip-point circuit from the datasheet (Fig 8-7) with RSET as 21.5k for a 0deg threshold and 5deg hysteresis.

When measuring current draw, the part is consistently drawing above 300uA - much higher than specified 0.5 uA.

Can the TMP390 reach the quoted low-current in this application? Have I missed something?

I am using this example circuit from the datasheet, the only change is that the resistor on SETB is 21.5 kohm.

Hi Tim,

Has the device been operating normally otherwise, and are you observing correct operation at the 0°C trip point? Additionally, has this current been measured on all TMP390 devices in the system?
