Hi,

Customer encountered error when using AWR2243 Cascade radar using mmwave studio, please see details below.

I was using mmwave studio 3_00_00_14 to operate 2243 cascade radar on my laptop. Previously I successfully ran the cascade_configuration_MIMO.lua  script to collect data. However, recently I'm getting errors while running the same lua script. Please see the attached pictures. I really have no clue how to debug this error. I've attached the full output window in the word file. Please let me know how to debug this error.

    Hi,

    This seems to be an error related to the environment

    1) Have you run this matlab script on the same laptop before or on a different PC?

    2) If the answer is YES to the previous question, has there been any update on the laptop you are using?

            a) firewall software

            b) environment variables update

            c) Windows patch update...

    It is possible that one of the updates affected the environment

    3) If the answer is NO to 1) than probably the environment was not set up correctly on the laptop

    Hi,

    Just received response from customer, please see details below.

    Regarding Firewall update:
    I can connect the TDA board through the wifi network ip address ; also, mmwave studio is allowed through the firewall. 
    Environmental variables:
    To coolest data with mmwave studio, do we need to set environmental variable? As per as I know, it's required only for processing the data using Matlab script TI provided.
    Windows patch update:
    This is something I don't know.
    I'm still getting the same error message and can't configure the radar at all.

    Sorry for the delay,

    The customer may have already identified his error.

    Please review the Instructions in the User Guide

    As mentioned in Figure 4.1

    C:\ti\mmwave_studio_03_00_00_14\docs\mmwave_studio_user_guide.pdf

    The firmware that must be loaded is NOT the metaimage, but the radarss.bin and masterss.bin binaries
