I'm considering level diagram of mmwave radar using AWR1843.
I would like to know if the following is correct.
Thermal noise input from the antenna to the receiver is calculated from kTB.
Using IF Bandwidth 10 MHz and boltzmann constant, noise power can be calcuated as -103.83 dBm.
Here, setting the parameter "Rx gain" to 30 dB, and considering that NF is about 15.5 dB(@RX Gain = 30 dB) the noise power just before the ADC is -61.4 dBm.
This is Significantly low compared to LSB of ADC(1LSB = 0.000488V if resolution is 12 bit).
The NF value is taken from the following catalog values.
