IWR6843ISK: Problems with the visualizer in the cloud

Hello everyone,

I am currently having problems using the Visualizer in the cloud. I have created my own binary and tried to flash it to the IWR6843ISK device which worked fine. also the connection the device with the visualizer is working. But as soon as i try to flash a config, i get the error which i uploaded in the picture. I checked my buildsettings and general properties and i have not found any mention of an AOP device selection.

Is this a known bug or should i look somewhere else?

I have multiple test scenarios:

- demo with my changes and sdk version 3.5.00.04 which shows a version mismatch and when changing to the right version the AOP ISK mitmatch
- oob demo compiled with sdk version LTS-3.6.00.00 which doesnt connect to the board at all
- oob demo directly downloaded from the ressource explorer which cant load config because the configData argument is missing

Which SDK version does the OOB demo work with?

Hi no thank u,

You are not going crazy, I promise. You are correct, there is a known bug, and I hope it has not caused you too much of a headache.

Luckily there is a workaround. Check my response to this thread here: IWR6843ISK-ODS: Demo Visualizer: Selected Platform [xWR68xx] not matching that reported by target [xWR68xx_AOP], it should solve the issue.
