TMCS1108: Arrangement of peripheral components.

Hi team,

I'd like to know about the placement of peripheral components.

I am thinking of the blue line as the current line, can I place components in the orange area?


I'd like to use this arrangement if it does not affect the TMCS1108 because the mounting area is too small and does not draw much current.

    I don't see this being an issue, unless any of the devices in the immediate area are high current in nature, which as you say, they are not. The layout you've created here follows the EVM relatively closely, with simply some truncation of the input planes. This should be fine, you will simply lose some of the thermal properties the copper polygon of the EVM provides.
