AWR1443BOOST: Port cannot be detected

AWR1443BOOST cannot be detected by my laptop. The device manager page cannot show any connected ports.

The power supply is fine and both the LED is lit up.

I have followed the steps below to install the driver and other softwares:

1) Install TICloud

2) Install SDK

3) Install CCS

4) Install UniFlash

5) Make sure my USB3.0 Root Hub Driver is updated

However none of these steps can make the port show up in the device manager.

FYI my OS is Windows 10 Pro (x64)

Hi,

In order for the COM ports to show up in device manager, only CCS should be installed. (CCS will install the emulation package)

If the COM ports do not show up there is a problem with the PC environment.

You can try to install the emulation package independently of CCS

Could you try another PC? Has this board been used before with a different PC?

WE use Win10 on our PCs and we never had a problem

Dear Cesar, I have tried on another 3 different computers, in Win10 and Win10Pro OS. I followed the following steps

1) Disable driver signature enforcement (only performed on 1 computer)

2) Install EmuPack

3) Plug in AWR1443BOOST board, make sure LED is lit up

4) Device Manager cannot detect the board (even after refereshing the page)

Woud you know if these steps are correct for the sole objective of detecting the board in the device manager?

Installing the EmuPack should be sufficient to bring up the COM ports in the device manager.

Where is this board coming from? Did it work before?

It is possible that the XDS Emulation firmware is not programmed on the board. This is very rare but possible.

Can you please check as described in the link below?
