Hello,
As shown in the DCA1000 Debugging Handbook linked here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/872161/faq-dca1000evm-dca1000evm-debug-resources, the issue you are seeing is most likely due to your firewall blocking the ports used by the DCA1000. It is also possible that the FPGA may have been corrupted. I will also add that the IP addresses you have configured are done correctly.

Pedrhom Nafisi
Thanks. I have reload the FPGA and the firewall is closed. The board still cannot work well.
Hello,
Can you be more specific with board not working well? Are you still getting the error "Unable to read FPGA version. [error -1]"?
Also does your computer's ethernet adapter support speeds of 1gbps? Some network cards that are older and slower cannot support the amount of data being sent via the DCA1000

Pedrhom Nafisi
Now is "Unable to read FPGA version. [error -5]". I have reflash FPGA, but the Ethernet light is still off. My computer's Ethernet support speeds of 1 gps, and my computer has a normal home broadband connection.
Hello,
And just to confirm, you are flashing the FPGA via the method confirmed in the DCA1000 user guide starting on page 22?
https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruij4a/spruij4a.pdf?ts=1658327514395
All DCA1000 switches match the image shown there? You are using the Lattice Diamond programmer tool? There are many steps there for flashing so I want to make sure all of it was done successfully.
Best Regards,
Pedrhom Nafisi
Thanks. I am sure that I flash the FPGA via the method confirmed in the DCA1000 user guide on Page 22. The results of flashing the FPGA is as follows.
Hello,
The only other things I can think of at this point is to try a different ethernet cable and a different computer. If all of that fails as well, please let me know.

Pedrhom Nafisi
Dear Engineer, I have contacted the customer service center and applied for replacement. Please help me to identify if the device is defective. Thanks.
Hello,
Outside of FPGA, are you able to get SPI/UART working? Check the guide attached below on how to do that. A final picture of your setup would be helpful, just for a final confirmation that the switches match exactly as I showed in my picture in our other thread here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1117083/iwr6843isk-i-got-iwr6943isk-dca1000evm-without-mmwaveicboost-when-load-bss-fw-in-mmwave-studio-it-showed-download-fw-failed-with-error--1/4146428

SPI/UART are working. The swiches are matched as "https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors-group/sensors/f/sensors-forum/1117083/iwr6843isk-i-got-iwr6943isk-dca1000evm-without-mmwaveicboost-when-load-bss-fw-in-mmwave-studio-it-showed-download-fw-failed-with-error--1/4146428". The Ethernet light is still off.
Hello,
The DCA switches are incorrect in your picture. Can you please match this and check FPGA? Send a new picture if there is no success.
This is the switches from my image (Only Switch 5 on)
This is the switches from your image (Switch 2 and 6 one)

Dear Engineer, I have contacted the customer service center and applied for replacement. Please help me to identify if the device is defective. Thanks.
Hello,
Go ahead with customer service as your setup seems to be proper so the device seems to need replacing. I am sorry for all the inconvenience.
Best Regards,
Pedrhom Nafisi
