DCA1000EVM: DCA1000EVM: CONFIG_VIA_SW to collect data

We suggest to capture in the software mode (check the sw2 setting in the attached figure).  And it is suggested to do data capture through mmwave studio.    Which EVM are you using?  Can you try mmwave studio and see whether you can capture data successfully?

I am using AWR1243BOOST and DCA1000EVM. I was successful to capture data in mmwave studio (in software mode). I am building a user app to collect data from DCA1000EVM, but when AWR1243EVM transmitted frames, I send a command RECORD_START_CMD_CODE (0x05) and receive a command that is successful, then DCA1000EVM does not record data, after that, LVDS_PATH_ERROR and HDR_LED red LEDs are lighting.

Hi,

I used "C:\ti\mmwave_dfp_01_02_06_03\ti\example\...\mmwavelink_monitoring\mmwavelink_monitoring.exe" to send the data radar device over the LVDS lane, this application is ready to run with AWR1243BOOST ES3.0 (in SOP4 mode).
