DCA1000EVM: DCA1000EVM not capturing data

Hello,

I am using DCA1000EVM and AWR1843BOOST to capture raw data using mmWave studio

 

when I capture data via mmWave studio, The LEDs in the top right corner do not blink continuously while capturing data (I think the data is not captured properly), and it heats up more than the other normal working board. 

Also, in my board's top right LED, the second LED doesn't light up while post processing in mmWave studio

the output window shows this:

  • So, if I understand correctly

    • there are 2 DCA1000 Cards
    • Using the same PC, the behavior is different
      • One of the cards works fine
      • The other card does not work

    Is this correct?

    It seems that the error in the snapshot is due to Matlab setup and not to the DCA1000

    Are you using the same PC for capture with both DCA1000?

    the other DCA1000 board is not mine though, I tried using someone else’s.

    yes one works other doesn’t.
